Whether you’ve visited several times or just thinking about coming to Cross River Church, we’re glad to have you join us. Below we’ve outlined some of the things you will experience when you visit, so that you will know what to expect.
Before the Service
Choose a service time:
At Cross River we currently offer one Sunday Worship Experience – 10:00am

Visit the Café:
If you have time, stop and enjoy a cup of coffee and connect with other attenders as well as our friendly hospitality team.
Check in your children:
Our Sunday morning kids program is the perfect place for children from birth to the 5th grade. Our staff and volunteers create a safe, fun atmosphere in which children can learn Bible stories and participate in age-appropriate worship. Parents check in their children and receive a printed name tag and receipt with a security number for each child.
As you walk into Cross River Church you’ll notice a casual atmosphere and people of all ages and walks of life. An Usher will give you a program, which includes church announcements and a note-taking sheet for the message. An usher can direct you to seats in the auditorium – or you may sit wherever you feel most comfortable.
During the Service
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. Our worship team will lead us in upbeat, energetic songs of praise for what the Lord has done, as well as more intimate songs of worship of who God is. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for many, that means singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Every Sunday, Pastor Joey gives a relevant, down-to-earth, humorous message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. Many of the past messages are available online (just click on the sermons tab above) at no cost or you can listen on iTunes Podcast. These messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and apply Biblical teaching to your own life.
Tithe and Offering:
Each week Cross River’s regular attenders give their tithe (10% of their income) to the Lord. As a guest, there is no need for you to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great things He is doing in their lives. It also gives Cross River the means to minister to our community in various outreach capacities.
While adults are in the worship center, their kids are listening to their own dynamic interactive message, learning principles that can be lived out all week long. Children are divided into classrooms with age-appropriate teachings and activities, discussing topics that will help them build a solid foundation and a strong relationship with God.
After the Service
Pick up your kids:
If you check a child into kids programming, you will both receive matching ID numbers; you will need your sticker with your child’s ID number in order to pick up your child.
Check out our Information Center:
Whether you need a Bible, finding out more information on Small Groups or signing up for an upcoming event, the Information Center has everything you need to keep you updated on what’s going on here at Cross River.
Visit the Café:
If you’d like a hot cup of coffee, sit and talk with friends or family, or connect with other attenders, visit our café before and after each service and our friendly hospitality team will be there to assist you.
